Electrical & Embedded Systems Engineer
Join TacMed Simulation and help develop advanced medical training systems used by military medics, first responders, healthcare professionals, and educational institutions worldwide. As an Electrical & Embedded Systems Engineer, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to design, test, troubleshoot, and improve electronic hardware and embedded software systems that power our next generation of medical simulation products. This role offers the opportunity to work on real-world engineering challenges involving PCB design, embedded programming, hardware/software integration, and product certification.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
Basic knowledge of electronics, embedded systems, and circuit design
Experience programming in C/C++ through coursework, internships, personal projects, or professional experience
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced development environment
Preferred Skills:
Exposure to PCB design tools such as Altium Designer
Experience with embedded microcontrollers and hardware debugging
Familiarity with C#, .NET, or related software development environments
Hands-on experience with electronics assembly, soldering, or laboratory testing
Knowledge of regulatory standards, product testing, or design documentation practices
Key Responsibilities:
Support the design, testing, and improvement of electronic hardware and embedded software systems
Assist with PCB design updates, hardware validation, and troubleshooting activities
Develop and maintain embedded software for medical simulation products
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to bring new products to market
Participate in product verification, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
