Bilingual Journalism Intern (Spanish/English)

ClaroyDirecto.com, a Spanish-language newscast headquartered in Miami, is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) journalism intern to assist with video reporting and interviews. This position may be performed remotely or from our Scottsdale office.

The intern will conduct recorded video interviews, gather information for news stories, and help expand our coverage of Hispanic communities throughout Arizona, Southern California, Utah, and Nevada. Interviews will be conducted primarily in Spanish.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and record video interviews
  • Research and report on news stories affecting Hispanic communities
  • Communicate with sources and community members in Spanish and English
  • Assist with content creation and news production

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English
  • Strong communication and interviewing skills
  • Interest in journalism, media, communications, or broadcasting
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Compensation:
Pay is to be determined based on availability and hours worked.
