Language Teaching Intern

You will assist in teaching language classes, focusing on improving students’ conversational skills. You’ll help prepare lesson plans, facilitate interactive activities, and support students in their language learning journey, all within a dynamic and supportive environment.

• Assist in teaching language classes, helping students with speaking, listening, and comprehension.
• Lead conversational classes, providing students the opportunity to practice real-world dialogue and improve fluency.
• Prepare lesson materials and support lesson planning, adapting resources for different levels of learners.
• Support students during lessons, answering questions, correcting mistakes, and providing constructive feedback.
• Monitor student progress and assist in evaluating their language skills, offering suggestions for improvement.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including tracking student attendance, organizing materials, and maintaining class schedules.
• Promote a positive and interactive learning environment, encouraging active participation and communication.

About the Organization:

Idiomes Tarradellas has a team of teachers who have been training students in languages since 2002. We help children, teenagers, adults, companies and we adapt the courses and contents to their needs. We offer other services such as translations of documents, summer camps and specific courses.

On-site Supervision and Support

Our internships include 24/7 on-site staff to support students working and living abroad. All students will also report to a supervisor at their internship site. Supervisors provide and oversee daily tasks, introduce the intern to team members, and mentor the intern in organizational agility, skill acquisition, and career readiness. Interns complete a midpoint and final evaluation, and supervisors complete a final evaluation of their interns. All work responsibilities and projects are approved in advance. 

Academic Credit

Students on an internship have the opportunity to enroll in their home university for credit, or enroll in a course through API to transfer back to their university for credit. Email support-internships@apiexperience.com for more information and a syllabus.
