DRC Graduate Intern

Position: Unclassified Paid Intern
Location: Dream Resource Center, Los Angeles Trade-Technical 
College (LATTC)
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $20.29/hour for 20 hours per week

The Dream Resource Center (DRC) is seeking reliable and 
proactive Graduate Interns to join our team. This position is focused on providing student support and outreach to LATTC campus and community. Interns will engage directly with students, handle sensitive information, and assist with various administrative tasks such as applying for financial aid and correcting residency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service: Provide in-person assistance to students, addressing their needs and 
concerns.
• Outreach: Conduct phone calls to set appointments with DRC staff and inform students 
about workshops and resources.
• Administrative Support: Manage student records, schedule appointments, and assist 
with event coordination.
• Engagement: Actively engage with students to ensure they receive the support they need.
• Additional office and customer-related responsibilities as assigned
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be enrolled full-time in a graduate (master’s or above) program and maintain good 
academic standing.
• Individuals with a valid work permit are strongly encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in customer service or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and comfort with making phone calls.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Analytical skills to assess and recommend resources and programs.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
