Key Duties and responsibilities *
Always arrive early and prepare in advance to teach the class (including commuting time.) Teach an energetic and motivating class, connect and challenge each child and help them to accomplish motor development goals and inspire a love of movement and healthy habits. Build strong and positive relationships with parents, teachers, directors, and children daily. Communicate with parents of the children in the program. Teach and conduct classes in an organized, structured, and fun manner. Make sure you are outgoing and engaging in every child, in every class. Understand responsibilities while the children are under your supervision.
Potential Work Schedule *
Available Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday (9 am - 12 pm). Evening times are available as well (5pm - 6:30pm). Some Saturday’s (9am-10:30am) are also available. 10-15 hours a week - $400-$600/week
Salary / Pay Scale *
$15 per class to shadow/train (Hands on training)
$20 per class to teach with supervision
$25 - $30 per class teaching on your own
Bonuses for growth of your classes plus other perks based on coaching ability
Minimum Skills, Qualifications, or Requirements:
Must be energetic, dynamic, passionate, caring and most importantly, AMAZING! Must be willing to travel to local schools around North Oakland County in MI. Must be at least 20 years of age. Must submit fingerprinting and pass Michigan comprehensive background check. Encouraged to have CPR Certification. Experience working with Pre-School Age Children (preschool teachers, camp counselor, elementary education substitute teacher, coach, etc.) Passion for sports/fitness. Background in fitness (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, etc.). Must be a great communicator who is reliable and punctual. Must be a detailed oriented person who knows how to use Google Drive, Google Calendar, and other Smart Phone Apps. Sales background - you may have to talk to potential parents, teachers, or others and will need to be able to give a 30-second elevator pitch to explain what our program is and the benefits. You must have a valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation to get to and from class locations. Classes are held at different childcare centers/schools throughout the territory and recur on a weekly basis. Able to provide minimum 6-month commitment to develop within this growing company. Available to start and train for a few hours each week, immediately. ** Must be available on the following days/times Tuesday, Thursday, Friday AM classes (9 -11:45 am)
