Teaching Artists & Creative Instructors (NYC)

Start: September 2027 (Summer 2027 opportunities available)

Heal Through Art is hiring Multimedia Artists, Sculptors, Mixed Medium, Fashion Instructors, and Teaching Artists to lead creative, project‑based classes for K–12 students across NYC. This is an in‑person role for artists who love working with youth and can commit to a consistent schedule.

What You’ll Do

  • Teach engaging art, sculpture, multimedia, or fashion lessons
  • Support student creativity and expression
  • Bring professionalism, reliability, and positive energy to each session

Requirements

  • Must live in the NYC area
  • Strong artistic skills (multimedia, sculpture, fashion, visual arts)
  • Experience teaching or working with youth
  • Excellent time‑management, reliability, and communication
  • Available for the 2027–2028 school year (in person)
