Community Compost Hub Intern (San Mateo)

Fresh Approach seeks a detail-oriented and community-minded individual with strong public communication skills to support the organization’s Community Compost Hub programming in San Mateo County. This role is primarily responsible for assisting with compost collection activities at local farmers’ markets, maintaining compost systems at Phoenix Garden, engaging with community members, and supporting outreach and volunteer efforts.

This is a part-time internship position running from June through August, requiring approximately 10–12 hours per week, including Saturdays. Compensation is $18/hour.
