Research Internship for Sociology/Social Work

The department is seeking a research assistant who can assist in the following responsibilities: Support faculty-led and institutional research projects through systematic data collection, data cleaning, analysis, and comprehensive literature reviews, contributing to evidence-based insights on real-world social issues.

  • Gain hands-on experience with a range of research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative approaches, with responsibilities tailored to the specific objectives and methodological framework of each project.
  • Assist in the preparation of research outputs such as reports, summaries, and presentations, translating findings into clear, well-structured written materials for academic and institutional use.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary research teams while also working autonomously on assigned tasks, demonstrating strong organizational skills, initiative, and accountability.
  • Engage actively in meetings and research discussions, practicing active listening and effective communication to incorporate feedback and align work with project goals.

A private university dedicated to social sciences. The internship is located at Sociology Department which is one of the most prestigious of the country. The department provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Their professors are recognized for provide a first level research’s project.

On-site Supervision and Support

Our internships include 24/7 on-site staff to support students working and living abroad. All students will also report to a supervisor at their internship site. Supervisors provide and oversee daily tasks, introduce the intern to team members, and mentor the intern in organizational agility, skill acquisition, and career readiness. Interns complete a midpoint and final evaluation, and supervisors complete a final evaluation of their interns. All work responsibilities and projects are approved in advance. 

Academic Credit

Students on an internship have the opportunity to enroll in their home university for credit, or enroll in a course through API to transfer back to their university for credit. Email support-internships@apiexperience.com for more information and a syllabus.
