Workforce Training Intern
Hours: Monday - Friday, 25 hours per week
Location: Dallas, TX., On-site
Internship with an opportunity for full-time employment
Position Overview:
This position includes marketing, marketing research, workforce training, curriculum development, teaching classes, creating marketing strategies and campaigns, coordinating classes, scheduling and organizing ongoing events, creating workforce events, and working with multiple stakeholders to increase the number of students and increase training internally. Develop new products in the form of virtual and live classes, which includes industry analysis, consumer research, and partner research. Update the website, create marketing campaigns and develop marketing materials. Develop and teach curriculum by designing and teaching classes in multiple vocational and academic areas. Schedule and coordinate ongoing classes with multiple external partners and internal teachers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis and develop strategic plan of high demand classes in DFW
- Analyze industry needs/hiring company needs to identify relevant skills needed
- Conduct pricing analysis and recommendations for current and new products
- Create internal surveys for baseline of internal customer needs (internal classes)
- Develop training strategic plan for internal customer product delivery
- Create class curriculum and teach classes live, virtually and record classes
- Schedule and coordinate ongoing classes with multiple external partners and internal teachers
- Additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
- Graduate Student in Marketing, Education, Business, Logistics, Construction or related degree plan
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Marketing, Education, Business, Logistics, Construction or related field
- Experience posting content on social media platforms
- Ability to coordinate training programs and career fairs
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Education, Business, Logistics, Construction or related degree plan
- Strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of Human Resource management practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with diverse populations
- AI proficient
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
- No remote work available
