Creative Intern (Meme Lord) | Short Form Content
Creative Intern (Meme Lord), Short-Form Content
Location: Brooklyn, New York (Hybrid, flexible schedule) Type: Part-time Internship Compensation: $16.50/hour
About the Role
We make short-form content for a range of clients across business/tech and music/fashion, with LinkedIn as our main platform and TikTok, X, and IG/IGS close behind. This role is about turning raw footage into clips that actually land in the feed. The work moves fast and the bar is taste: knowing what's worth watching, what's trending, where to cut, and what sound to drop under it. If you can watch a pile of footage and instantly feel the story and the vibe inside it, this is for you.
What You'll Do
- Take raw footage and cut it down into punchy, scroll-stopping clips
- Produce 3-5 short-form pieces a week across different clients, with a focus on LinkedIn
- Match each edit to the right vibe, trend, and audience, and add captions, trending audio, and simple motion to make it pop
- Compile and assemble footage quickly, and turn edits around on a tight cycle
- Watch how posts perform and bring that back into the next round of edits
What We're Looking For
- A strong sense of story and vibe: you can tell what a clip is "about" and where the hook, the pacing, and the payoff live
- Deeply online, with native fluency in LinkedIn and short-form internet culture across TikTok, X, and IG. You get what makes a brand feel human and watchable in the feed
- Comfortable with quick, simple edits in CapCut (or similar). This is about speed and instinct, not heavy production or fancy effects
- Reliable, fast, and happy producing a steady volume of content week to week
Bonus
- Comfortable digesting a brand's story and pitching clip ideas of your own
- Can shoot simple original footage when needed
To Apply
Send us examples of short-form content you've made or edited (links to posts or profiles), with the client/project name for each. We care more about your taste and what you've made than your gear or résumé.
