Social Media Coordinator

TALD is seeking a creative, organized, and digitally savvy Social Media Coordinator Intern to support content creation, platform growth, and day-to-day social execution. This role is ideal for a college student or emerging creative who understands internet culture, has strong visual instincts, and is excited about the intersection of design, media, and technology.

You’ll work closely with TALD’s leadership team to help shape the brand’s social presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Design social media graphics, carousels, stories, and light video content using Canva
  • Schedule and publish content across TALD’s social platforms
  • Assist with caption writing and content organization
  • Help identify trends, platform shifts, and opportunities for audience growth
  • Suggest strategic improvements to content performance, engagement, and brand positioning
  • Support content planning and editorial calendar management
  • Assist with creating short-form video concepts and social-first storytelling
  • Organize imagery, assets, and social templates
  • Monitor engagement and help surface community insights and feedback
  • Research competitors, creators, and brands for inspiration and market awareness

Qualifications

  • Current college student or recent graduate
  • Strong familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
  • Experience using Canva
  • Strong eye for aesthetics, layout, and visual storytelling
  • Interest in branding, marketing, media, or consumer startups
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail

Bonus Points

  • Experience editing Reels or TikTok content
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools and analytics platforms
  • Interest in interior design, architecture, lifestyle, or luxury brands
  • Strong writing instincts and understanding of brand voice
  • Experience growing personal or brand social accounts
