NCCER General Technology Teacher at Hahnville High School

Salary:

  • $63,000-$84,840 (Certified Pay)

Work Duration:

  • 183 Days
  • 7.5 Hours/Day

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program which includes:

  • delivering lessons on the practical application of technology through hands-on projects
  • teaching students skills relevant to technology-related careers
  • ensuring a safe learning environment which adheres to safety regulations
  • developing and adapting lesson plans, evaluating curriculum relevance, and engaging students in meaningful, real world learning activities
  • maintain accurate records, monitor student progress, and address academic or behavioral issues
  • communicate with parents, guardians, and other school personnel regarding student performance needs
  • developing authentic and aligned assessments to measure student growth and inform instructional decisions

Certification Requirements:

  • Holds a Louisiana teaching certification in Technology Education, Industrial Arts, or CTTIE or is eligible to obtain a CTTIE certificate
