Lobby Ambassador
About the Role:
As a Lobby Ambassador, you will be the face of our organization, providing a warm and welcoming environment for all visitors, clients, and employees. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring that everyone who enters our premises feels valued and attended to. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a friendly and professional demeanor.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Event Management & Related Administration
- Host calls and event space walkthroughs with event organizers and external clients
- Meeting center booking requests
- High level guest experience from greeting to departure
- Liaising with vendors (catering etc.)
- Troubleshooting of onsite A/V technology
- Acting as point of contact for all events and meeting spaces
- Physical inspection, upkeep and reconfiguration of meeting rooms as required
- Additional event and meeting space responsibilities as directed by on-site manager
- Basic level customer service
- Management of a shared messaging and email system
- White glove guest experience
- Highest level guest experience from greeting to departure including check in and badging of guests
- Liaising with client, guests, VIPs and team members
- Escort of VIP guests
- Answering phones as needed
- Efficiency and solution-oriented communication
- Additional event and meeting space responsibilities as directed by on-site manager
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced professional/corporate environment
- Previous experience with executive level interaction is preferred
- Previous experience with event planning or event support is preferred
- Consistent level of professionalism
- Ability to learn new computer programs and technical equipment troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Engage in repetitive motion activities such as twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Fluency in English
- Ability to be seated or in motion for extended periods of time
- Ability to handle stressful situations and tight schedules
- Dependable, able to commit to work schedule and follow through
- Ability to work alone and with a team
"The pay range for this position is $18.50 CAD per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.”
