Simplex Group is seeking a creative, trend-driven Digital Content Coordinator Intern to support the Marketing team in developing engaging digital content focused on the transportation and trucking industries.

This internship is designed for someone passionate about social media, video production, storytelling, and industry trends. The intern will assist with planning, scripting, coordinating, and editing external-facing content that supports brand awareness and marketing initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys researching trends, creating content, and learning in a fast-paced marketing environment while gaining hands-on experience in content production and digital marketing.

Job Description & Responsibilities

The Digital Content Coordinator Intern will support the Marketing team in executing external content initiatives and social media production activities.

The responsibilities of this position include:

• Industry Trend Research & Content Ideation
  • Monitor trends within the trucking, logistics, and transportation industries
  • Research social media trends, viral formats, and competitor content
  • Identifying breaking news and reactive content opportunities
  • Contribute creative ideas for engaging and educational content

• Content Planning & Calendar Support
  • Assist with maintaining the content calendar
  • Support content scheduling and publishing timelines
  • Help organize content deliverables and campaign priorities

• Script Writing & Creative Development
  • Assist in developing scripts for short-form and educational video content
  • Support creative storytelling concepts and content ideas
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on webinar and promotional content

• Video Content Support & Editing
  • Filming, editing, subtitles, audio, and formatting
  • Adapt content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn

• Graphic Design & Visual Content
  • Create supporting graphics and thumbnails for social media content
  • Maintain visual consistency aligned with company branding
  • Support design needs related to external campaigns

• Webinar & Production Support
  • Coordinate and managing Zoom webinars
  • Support webinar production logistics and live sessions
  • Help prepare presentations and promotional assets for webinars

Required Skills & Experience

• Students or recent graduates in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
• Basic experience in video editing and content creation
• Familiarity with tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar platforms
• Strong interest in social media and digital marketing
• Basic graphic design skills
• Understanding of short-form video content
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Experience using Zoom or webinar platforms is a plus
