Elementary Teacher – Clifton-Fine Central School District
The Clifton-Fine Central School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary
Teacher to join our team and foster a love of learning in young students. We are looking for an
educator who is passionate about student growth and development, committed to creating an
engaging classroom environment, and eager to collaborate with colleagues and families.
Located on the western side of the Adirondacks and serving as the gateway to the Five Ponds
Wilderness Area, Clifton-Fine Central School District is a small, tight-knit school committed to
providing students with a strong academic foundation. With approximately 250 students, our
district values a supportive, student-centered learning approach that nurtures curiosity and
success.
Responsibilities:
● Teach a well-rounded elementary curriculum that fosters academic, social, and
emotional growth.
● Create and implement engaging, student-centered lessons that align with New York
State Learning Standards.
● Use assessment data to inform instruction and track student progress.
● Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and support staff to enhance student
learning and well-being.
● Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide initiatives and professional growth.
Qualifications:
● New York State Certification in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) or eligibility for
certification.
● Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
