The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for a School Counselor at Spencerport High School.

Job Description:  Full-Time; Probationary

Required Credentials:  New York State Certification: School Counselor

Preferred Credentials:  

  • Successful experience as a school counselor
  • Knowledge of New York State Learning Standards and Assessments
  • Knowledge of NYSED Part 100 and 200
  • Knowledge of graduation credits, requirements and pathways
  • Technologically proficient
  • Infinite Campus experience
  • Provide counseling services to the general education and special education students
  • Assist in crisis management, develop, monitor and assess both academic and behavior support plans
  • Ability to assess needs of individuals and groups and gather/analyze data to determine the effectiveness of supports and interventions

 
Salary/Benefits:  As per the Spencerport Teacher's Association contract, comprehensive benefits package

Starting Date:  2026-2027 school year
