Marketing Manager

Role Description:

The Marketing Manager at Some Some will lead day-to-day marketing activities to define, test, and scale our go-to-market strategy. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the USA (preferably New York, open to remote for someone who is highly driven).

 

Responsibilities include planning and executing social media campaigns, managing the content calendar, ambassadors, and optimizing our presence across key platforms.

 

The Marketing Manager will develop messaging, coordinate with product and design to create compelling assets, and monitor performance using analytics tools. The role also involves running experiments to drive user acquisition and retention, engaging with our community, and reporting insights and recommendations to leadership.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong social media and community skills, including Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), with experience growing and engaging audiences.
  • Strategic content capabilities, including Content Strategy and clear, persuasive Communication skills for multi-channel campaigns.
  • Digital growth expertise, including Digital Marketing knowledge and hands-on experience with analytics, A/B testing, and performance optimization.
  • Proven experience in marketing for consumer apps, social platforms, or startups, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Comfort collaborating on-site in Medellín, with strong organizational skills and ownership of projects from concept through execution and measurement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus. Experience with influencer partnerships, paid social, or launch campaigns is beneficial.
