Summer Camp English Teacher

Education: 

• Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignments

Experience/Background:

• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
• Experience organizing and leading outdoor activities for children 
• Ability to develop creative outdoor activities that encourage participation and teamwork 
• Effective professional and interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrable organization and prioritization skills
• Experience with Google (Docs, Sheets & Drive, Classroom)

Instructional Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering effective lessons using diverse teaching methods
• Providing individualized academic support to meet diverse student needs
• Monitoring student understanding and academic progress
• Establishing and maintaining a positive classroom environment
• Creating age-appropriate educational activities and presentations
• Assessing student performance and preparing progress reports
• Supporting students’ academic, social, and personal development
• Planning, organizing, and supervising engaging indoor and outdoor activities for students

Professional Responsibilities
