ANNOUNCEMENT: Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the full-time administrative position of Assistant Instructional Technology Manager.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this position works under the direction of the Instructional Technology Manager to support the use, administration, and continuous improvement of instructional technology platforms. The role emphasizes faculty and student technology support, system troubleshooting, training, and accessibility compliance for technology-enhanced instruction. Some instructional technology activities may require limited after-hours or evening work during peak periods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, educational technology, or instructional design, required, master’s degree preferred.
- Prior teaching or training experience required.
- Prior technology support experience required.
- Experience planning, designing, and implementing online and Web-enhanced courses preferred
- Demonstrated experience with design and media tools preferred.
- Experience with major Course Management software preferred
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to hire.
SALARY: Salary Grade 2 on the Administrative Pay Scale, ranging from $44,691 - $55,841 per year.
