Clinical Counseling Intern
Flexible Schedule | Remote, Hybrid, or In-Person | Clinical Supervision and Professional Growth
Position Overview
Momentum Counseling and Consulting (MCC) is seeking compassionate and motivated graduate students pursuing degrees in counseling or marriage and family therapy who are looking to gain meaningful hands-on clinical experience in a supportive, professional environment.
Our internship and practicum program is designed to provide high-quality clinical training, individualized supervision, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth while helping students build confidence and competence as future clinicians. This position offers remote opportunities throughout the world or hybrid and in-office options throughout Colorado.
Students provide individual therapy services for clients ages 12+ (younger clients at the therapist’s discretion) and may have opportunities to work with couples, families, or groups depending on experience, interest, and training progression.
Schedule Expectations
Students are empowered to create schedules that support both academic requirements and personal commitments while also helping meet current client demand. At this time, most client needs occur during evening and weekend hours, so availability during those times is expected. Scheduling needs may evolve over time as client demand changes, creating opportunities for increased flexibility. As schedules are developed, students should also keep in mind the level of availability needed to remain on track with clinical hour requirements and provide consistent care to clients. This means building a schedule that can support 24 sessions per month during practicum and 48 sessions per month during internship at a minimum.
