Business Analyst – Public Sector
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid Schedule – Wednesdays & Thursdays in Office)

About the Role
Nagarro is seeking a motivated and innovative Business Analyst to support Public Sector projects. This opportunity is ideal for upcoming or recent graduates who enjoy analyzing business needs, translating them into technical requirements, and helping deliver impactful digital solutions.
This role will also provide exposure to emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Microsoft Copilot, and Claude AI tools to support productivity, analysis, documentation, and solution innovation within client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design digital solutions for Public Sector clients
- Assist in user research, stakeholder interviews, and usability testing
- Help create user personas, wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups
- Support translating business requirements into engaging and accessible user experiences
- Learn to iterate designs based on feedback and usability data
- Assist in data collection, validation, and analysis to support decision-making
- Utilize AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude to support documentation, research, business analysis, and workflow efficiency
- Support process improvement initiatives using automation and AI-driven insights
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, project meetings, and collaborative workshops
Qualifications
- Recent graduate or upcoming graduate in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Administration, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of SDLC or Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Interest in AI technologies, digital transformation, and emerging business tools
- Familiarity with process modeling, visualization, or documentation tools is a plus
- Exposure to AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or other generative AI platforms is a plus
- Interest in Public Sector technology solutions and innovation
