Campaign Fellow
Overview:
- Interested in politics and government? Matt McLaughlin, a longtime Somerville City Councilor, is running for State Senate in the Second Middlesex District, focused on keeping communities affordable for all residents. This flexible fellowship provides practical hands-on experience in voter outreach and campaign operations in a highly competitive race.
In this position you may:
- Conduct door-to-door canvasses and speak with voters to get out the vote
- Make phone calls and send texts in our outreach program to persuade voters to support Matt
- Work on our digital organizing team
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers
- Organize and staff campaign events
- Work with staffers to hit campaign-wide goals
