Dallas International University is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Advancement & Marketing Coordinator to support the daily operations of the university’s Advancement, Enrollment, and Marketing division. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing projects, coordinating communication, supporting recruitment efforts, and helping execute marketing initiatives in a fast-paced university environment.
This position is not primarily a graphic design role. While creative skills are important, the ideal candidate will excel in organization, communication, follow-through, and operational support.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the university marketing email account daily
- Support communication workflows related to student recruitment and advancement initiatives
- Assist with social media planning, scheduling, and content coordination
- Create and update slides, flyers, signage, digital graphics, and promotional materials
- Help maintain and update website content and assist with website audit projects
- Track and follow through on action items from meetings and ongoing projects
- Coordinate printing, mailing, and distribution of recruitment and advancement materials
- Maintain organized inventory and storage systems for marketing and recruitment items
- Help keep office and guest-facing areas clean, professional, and recruitment-ready
- Assist with recruitment events, donor initiatives, and campus communication projects
- Attend Enrollment and Advancement meetings as directed
- Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and departments across the university
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and strong communication practices

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Attention to detail and proofreading ability
- Comfortable using Canva, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, social media platforms, and other digital tools
- Comfortable using modern AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, and other emerging technologies to improve communication, organization, marketing workflows, and overall efficiency
- Self-motivated with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills
- Ability to exercise good judgment and communicate professionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- Experience in marketing coordination, communications, administrative support, enrollment support, or project management preferred
- Experience with social media management, website content updates, or CRM systems is a plus
