World Language Teacher
At Brooklyn Lab, language opens worlds — and our teachers make that happen every day. We're a small, intentional school community in Brooklyn where every scholar is known by name, and our educators drive two to three years of academic growth on average.
We're looking for a passionate World Language teacher to join our high school team. You'll bring rigorous, standards-aligned instruction to a diverse group of students, use assessment data to sharpen your craft, and guide scholars through advisory — supporting them academically, socially, and emotionally on the path to college and beyond.
✅ What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's in a World Language or related field required; Master's preferred
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in diverse and urban areas
- Certification to teach in New York State or a willingness to become certified
- A proven record of academic achievement as a student and an educator
- Commitment to LAB’s mission and vision for excellence
- A growth mindset and the ability to work as part of a team
- Comfort with accountability and the ability to absorb feedback for the development of your craft and the scholars in your care
If you're a language educator who wants to work somewhere your students — and your growth — truly matter, we'd love to hear from you. Apply directly through Brooklyn Lab's careers page by clicking here.
