About LetsTrade

LetsTrade® is building a community-driven local marketplace focused on buying, selling and trading in a more social and engaging way. We are growing our creator network to help make LetsTrade® feel active, local, authentic, and worth downloading through relatable short-form content. The goal is to create a strong brand awareness across platforms by having multiple creators consistently posting engaging content around the app.

Position Overview

LetsTrade® is hiring a Part Time Content Creator to produce short-form vertical video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and related social platforms. Creators will help promote the LetsTrade® app through casual, authentic, community-driven content that feels natural rather than overly corporate.

Creators will work closely with the LetsTrade® content and marketing team to test hooks, messaging styles, editing formats, and calls-to-action designed to increase app downloads, engagement and overall brand awareness.

Content Expectations

Creators will be expected to:

• Produce approximately 8-10 short-form videos per month
• Create content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and similar platforms
• Develop multiple hooks and messaging angles for content testing
• Participate in feedback and optimization cycles

Create content that feels:

• Authentic
• Casual
• Conversational
• Local/community-driven
• Slightly humorous when appropriate
• Helpful and relatable

Content should feel like:

“A friend recommending an app,” not a polished corporate advertisement.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging short-form videos
• Test different hooks, captions, and calls-to-action
• Follow LetsTrade® brand voice and content guidelines
• Submit content drafts for review and revisions
• Maintain consistent posting cadence
• Collaborate with the LetsTrade® content and marketing team
• Stay current on TikTok/Reels trends and editing styles
• Help improve content performance through iteration and testing
• Participate in onboarding and creator training sessions
• Communicate consistently regarding deliverables and timelines

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for creators who are:

• Comfortable on camera
• Familiar with TikTok, Reels, and short-form content trends
• Creative and adaptable
• Strong communicators
• Self-motivated and consistent
• Interested in social media marketing, content creation, or digital branding
• Able to create content that feels natural and engaging

Preferred but not required:

• Experience creating & editing short-form videos 
• Familiarity with marketplace, resale, fashion, college, or community-based content
• Reno familiarity

Performance Metrics

Creators may be evaluated based on:

• Views
• Engagement
• Shares
• Saves
• Comments
• Profile visits
• App downloads
• Conversion rates
• Overall content performance

Compensation

LetsTrade® creators are compensated using a base-pay + performance incentive structure designed to reward creators who produce strong-performing content and drive app engagement.

Base Compensation

• ~$20-30/Hour
• Based on content consistency, quality, reliability, and deliverables

Expected Deliverables

• 8–10 pieces of short-form content per month
• Roughly 2 videos per week
• 5-10 Hours of work
