Job Summary
This role plays a key part in bringing projects to life—from initial design to startup. You’ll be a key technical liaison between customers, engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to keep projects moving smoothly and efficiently.
Job Description:
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure equipment meets site specific requirements.
- Create detailed and accurate shop drawings for efficient manufacturing and installation.
- Ensure timely delivery of drawings and materials to meet projects deadlines.
- Communicate with consulting engineers on project design matters.
- Provide field support and troubleshoot unforeseen design issues.
- Act as customer’s technical point of contact.
- Coordinate efforts among project personnel and ensure that effective communication exists.
- Facilitate and track the procurement of project materials.
- Answer questions regarding the scope of work & timing of the project.
- Problem solve complex issues and communicate solutions with internal and external team.
- Implement new processes and technology to increase company efficiency.
- Assist with startup procedures prior to turning facility over to Owner.
- Review final plans & technical documents.
Requirements
- 3+ years in construction engineering
- Experience with SolidWorks, Revit, and Excel
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Someone who enjoys working through complex challenges as part of a team
