Vendor Root is expanding into new markets, and we are looking for motivated, professional, relationship-driven Industry Relationship Managers to join our team.
Our IRMs are the boots on the ground for Vendor Root and our supplier partners. This role is built for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, gathering real market intelligence, and opening doors for business opportunities.
What You’ll Do
As an Industry Relationship Manager, you will visit properties, management offices, commercial buildings, condos, hotels, HOAs, and other business locations to identify needs, build relationships, and uncover opportunities for our supplier partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Visiting properties and businesses in your assigned market
- Building relationships with property managers, regional managers, owners, and decision-makers
- Gathering real-time field intelligence on service needs, upcoming projects, pain points, and vendor opportunities
- Creating qualified leads and meeting opportunities for Vendor Root supplier partners
- Representing Vendor Root professionally in the field
- Attending industry events, networking functions, and trade shows when needed
- Entering field activity, notes, contacts, and lead information into our CRM
- Supporting market growth as Vendor Root expands across the country
Compensation
- $40,000 base
- Mileage
- $41,000+ renewal bonuses
- $2000 commissions per new client

- Comfortable walking into new businesses and starting conversations
- Strong communicators with good follow-up skills
- Self-motivated and organized
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Able to represent Vendor Root and our supplier partners with professionalism
- Interested in sales, business development, networking, or the multifamily/commercial industries
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is helpful, but not required:
- Multifamily housing
- Property management
- Vendor sales
- Construction, restoration, maintenance, or service industries
- Business development
- Outside sales
- Hospitality, HOA, commercial, or real estate-related industries
- Marketing experience
