This is a sales-focused role inside the technology industry, not an IT support or engineering position.
The Opportunity
We are hiring a Part-Time Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support outbound prospecting, pipeline development, and meeting generation.
This is a strong opportunity for students or early-career professionals interested in SaaS, fintech, recruiting, or B2B sales careers. You’ll develop real-world outbound sales skills used across modern sales organizations.
Several people who built outbound experience in roles like this have gone on to successful careers in SaaS and fintech sales.
What You’ll Do
* Research target companies and decision-makers
* Prospect through phone, email, and LinkedIn
* Cold call business leaders and technology stakeholders
* Build relationships through consistent follow-up
* Identify business pain points and future opportunities
* Schedule meetings for senior sales leaders
* Maintain CRM activity and pipeline notes
* Participate in weekly coaching and roleplay sessions
This role combines:
* Cold calling
* Relationship development
* Pipeline building
* Strategic follow-up
* Consultative communication
Typical Activity
* 50–60 outbound calls per shift
* Consistent email and LinkedIn outreach
* CRM updates and task management
* Booking meetings weekly
Who This Role Is For
* 6–24 months of sales, fundraising, recruiting, canvassing, appointment-setting, or customer-facing experience preferred
* Comfortable speaking with new people
* Competitive and motivated by measurable goals
* Interested in future SaaS, fintech, or B2B sales careers
* Coachable, resilient, and organized
This role is NOT a fit if:
* You dislike phone conversations
* You are uncomfortable with cold outreach
* You are primarily seeking an IT support or engineering role
* You prefer highly technical work over communication and sales
Compensation & Structure
* $15–20/hour depending on experience
* Performance bonuses tied to qualified meetings
* Fully remote within the U.S.
* Central or Eastern time zones preferred
