Senior Data Scientist

A fast-growing AI and analytics consulting company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in operations research, supply chain optimization, and pricing analytics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving large-scale business problems using advanced analytics, machine learning, and optimization techniques in retail and CPG environments.
 

Role:

🔹 Build and optimize advanced supply chain and pricing models using Python and mathematical optimization techniques
🔹 Refactor and enhance optimization algorithms using Object-Oriented Programming principles
🔹 Develop predictive models to improve inventory allocation, replenishment, and resource planning
🔹 Analyze large datasets to generate actionable business insights and operational improvements
🔹 Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
🔹 Design experiments and evaluate replenishment and allocation strategies
🔹 Monitor KPIs and recommend continuous optimization improvements
🔹 Mentor and collaborate with a team of experienced data scientists and analysts
 

Requirements:

✅ 10+ years of experience in Data Science, Operations Research, or Supply Chain Analytics
✅ Strong expertise in supply chain optimization, pricing analytics, and inventory management
✅ Advanced proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL
✅ Experience with optimization solvers such as Gurobi, CPLEX, Xpress MP, or Google OR-Tools
✅ Solid understanding of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and optimization algorithms
✅ MS or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field
✅ Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to business stakeholders
✅ Experience working in retail, CPG, or large enterprise analytics environments is highly preferred
