About the job

Global Business Organization Education's (GBOedu's) mission is to transform capability development into an engaged advantage by building an adaptive, AI-infused learning ecosystem that delivers direct commercial value for the business.

We are a dynamic organization of learning professionals dedicated to architecting and delivering scalable, role-specific learning strategies across business units. By bridging the gap between global strategy and local activation, GBOedu ensures our global employees possess the critical skills needed to maximize their impact and thrive in a rapidly evolving, AI-first commercial landscape.

As a Learning Specialist (LS) within GBO, you are a "producer-director" at an integrated, agile value chain. In this role, you will move away from traditional, long-lead content creation and slow, bespoke builds toward a highly automated "adapt and adopt" modular content engine. You will be a consultative partner and functional authority who leverages AI-native tools to compress development cycles from months into weeks, automating 60–80% of the development process.

Supporting either our product portfolios or non-sales initiatives, you will manage global learning strategies and set the bar for technical and operational fluency. You will navigate technical roadmaps seamlessly minimizing the need for lengthy subject matter expert (SME) discovery cycles and will be directly responsible for both designing rapid, high-impact curriculum and selecting and leveraging existing modular assets from the shelf. You will ensure innovation, technical accuracy, and zero drop-off in service as we transition into an automated, modular future.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000-$135,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Learn more about benefits at Google.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive stakeholders to conduct needs analyses, translating business requirements into technical blueprints while using an intake process to ensure alignment with key priorities.
  • Build and maintain modular learning assets designed for optimal global reuse, ensuring core content needs are met efficiently while strategically reserving capacity for hyper-local innovation.
  • Act as an innovative creative producer, leveraging advanced AI tools to automate design workflows and pioneer interactive, next-generation learning formats.
  • Integrate AI-driven practice complements and simulation tools into the curriculum to accelerate learning cycles and move professionals from knowledge to operational adoption.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle including vendor guidelines and leadership reviews while utilizing advanced evaluation strategies to ensure predictable deployment and measurable program impact.
