We’re looking for like-minded, passionate tutors to join our growing team at S.A.M Singapore Math in Lake Forest - Irvine area. This isn’t just a tutoring job — it’s an opportunity to grow with us and help shape the future of our learning centers as we continue to expand.

This role is ideal for college students, recent graduates, or anyone who’s strong in math and loves teaching in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Exceptional team members will have opportunities to advance into leadership roles, such as Assistant Director or Center Director, as we build more successful centers together. Hours are part-time and flexible, 3:30–7:30 pm on weekdays and Saturday 11:00 am–4:00 pm. 

What You’ll Do

Work with students ages 5–14 in small groups (1–3 students)

Guide them through problem-solving activities and workbook practice

Promote thinking, encourage independence and confidence in learning

Give feedback to parents on progress and support each child’s growth

What We’re Looking For

Solid math skills (comfortable with elementary/middle school topics)

Strong English communication skills

Positive, reliable, and patient with children

Quick to learn and adapt to our teaching approach

Previous tutoring experience is helpful but not required—we provide full training
