Pay Rate: $25–$40/hour (based on experience)

Help Students Build Confidence Through Movement & Mindfulness

 

Whizara is seeking enthusiastic and caring Yoga & Mindful Movements Instructors to lead engaging wellness-focused classes for K–12 students this summer.

 

This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about yoga, mindfulness, movement, wellness, or working with children. You’ll help students improve focus, confidence, flexibility, and emotional well-being through fun, age-appropriate activities and mindful practices.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead fun and engaging Yoga & Mindful Movements classes for K–12 students
  • Guide students through beginner-friendly yoga poses, stretching, breathing, and mindfulness activities
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and calming classroom environment
  • Encourage self-confidence, focus, teamwork, and healthy movement habits
  • Adapt activities to different age groups and ability levels
  • Keep students engaged through interactive and supportive instruction
  • Communicate professionally with staff, parents, and program coordinators
  • Arrive prepared and ready to create a safe and encouraging class experience

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Passion for yoga, mindfulness, wellness, fitness, or youth enrichment
  • Comfortable leading movement-based activities for children
  • Energetic, patient, reliable, and encouraging personality
  • Strong communication and classroom leadership skills
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Experience teaching yoga, fitness, dance, mindfulness, or youth programs is a plus—but not required
  • Reliable transportation to Lynwood, CA
