Associate Staff Accountant

Associate Staff Accountant - Part-Time 12-15 hours per week

Prefer a 3rd or 4th year student working toward a degree in accounting and/or tax. No experience required. 

Looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual interested in obtaining hands-on experience while working toward an accounting degree.  This person will work directly with me 3 days a week (preferable Monday, Wednesday, Friday for 4-5 hours each day about 10am - 2pm).  Days and hours flexible, if needed for the right candidate.  

Responsibilities:

Preparation of financial statements, Bank reconciliations, Sales tax return preparation, Quarterly payroll return preparation, Individual Form 1040 preparation, Business Form 1120S preparation, Journal entries, some data entry and expense coding.

Systems: QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Ultra Tax, Excel
