Household Helper
We are looking for a reliable, organized house helper to help with light household tasks once a week. This is a part-time role focused on keeping our home organized and helping with simple weekly reset tasks such as laundry, kitchen tidying, restocking supplies, and general organization.
This would be a good fit for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and looking for a consistent part-time position with a family.
Expected Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Loading or unloading the dishwasher
- Wiping kitchen counters and other high-use surfaces
- Washing and chopping produce for simple meal prep
- Helping with laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting items away
- Restocking household supplies such as diapers, wipes, toilet paper, soap, and related items
- Restocking the diaper bag as needed
- Taking trash and recycling to outdoor bins
- Tidying play areas and resetting toys or children’s items
- Straightening common areas and shared surfaces
- Noticing when household supplies are running low
- Sending a brief end-of-shift text with any low-stock items or unfinished tasks

Minimum Requirements
- Current college student or recent graduate preferred
- Available for a consistent weekly shift (exact day flexible)
- Comfortable with light physical tasks, such as carrying laundry, trash, recycling, or household supplies
- Prior experience with babysitting, household help, organizing, or similar work is helpful but not required
- Must be dependable, trustworthy, and comfortable working in a family home
Schedule and Position Type
This is a part-time household support role in a private family home. The expected schedule is likely one day per week for approximately 3 hours, with the specific day and time to be discussed with qualified candidates.
Compensation
$22–$25/hour, depending on experience. Expected schedule is approximately 3 hours per week.
