Job Description and Duties

The Analyst I is an administrative professional that supports the Division of Engineering’s programs by assisting on a variety of Human Resource related issues such as recruitment, performance management, HR data management, and a variety of other HR related areas. This is a hybrid telework position where approximately half of the work would occur in-person in the California Natural Resources Agency Headquarters building and half of the work would be performed remotely.

Duties: Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor I (SI), Personnel Resources Section (PRS), and as a representative of the Administrative Services Branch (ASB) of the Division of Engineering (DOE), the incumbent performs staff services assignments of average difficulty in support of DOE's program objectives with regard to a wide variety of personnel analysis including the hiring process, position and organizational management, complex timekeeping issues, the more difficult issues related to the support of DOE’s training needs, assists with Annual Appraisal & Development process, other related issues and data maintenance in SAP.
