Futures Client Services Specialist
The Futures Client Services Specialist will represent IRONBEAM, a CME Group Clearing Member and Futures Commission Merchant.
This position’s regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Due to the client-facing nature of this role, employees are expected to support business and client needs outside of regular hours as required, including occasional coverage of:
• Evening shift: 6:00 pm – 2:30 am
• Overnight shift: 1:00 am – 9:30 am
Shift coverage will be scheduled in advance whenever possible and coordinated with the employee. When working an evening or overnight shift, employees will generally be scheduled in place of their regular daytime hours to maintain a 40-hour workweek.
From time to time, additional hours may be required based on business needs. All overtime will be compensated in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
The candidate will report directly to the firm’s Senior Management and will be responsible for the following as well as other duties as assigned:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers in a variety of issues.
- Risk management with futures and options trading, including executing trades.
- Executing orders for clients.
- Engaging with customers via phone, email, and chat.
- Assisting current customers on using our technology.
- Setting up customers with access to trading systems and troubleshooting trading software connection issues.
- Assisting with the firm's back office operations on an as-needed basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Commodities industry experience a plus
- Knowledge of futures and options industry is a must
- Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of industry trading platforms and technology on the back end
- Strong communication skills and professional attitude
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Minimum of Bachelors degree in business related area
- Series 3 Registration is preferred
