Hours: Minimum 5–10 hours per week
Pay: $30–$33 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Description

We are hiring a creative and engaging STEAM Instructor to lead in-school enrichment classes for elementary students during the Fall 2026 program.

This role introduces students to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) through hands-on, interactive activities designed to encourage creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead engaging, age-appropriate STEAM lessons for elementary students
Facilitate hands-on projects, experiments, and creative learning activities
Encourage curiosity, teamwork, and critical thinking
Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
Manage classroom behavior professionally
Prepare materials prior to each session
Collaborate with school staff and program coordinators
Communicate regularly with the program team
Submit an after-class brief following every session

Requirements

Experience working with elementary-aged students
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Reliable, organized, and professional
Must be able to submit an after-class brief after every session
Must pass a background check
Available for the full Fall 2026 in-school program

Preferred Qualifications

Background in STEAM, education, or enrichment programming
Experience teaching in a classroom or after-school setting
Familiarity with project-based learning approaches
