About the Role

McAfee Safety Analysis, Inc. (MSA) is seeking a qualified Electrical Superintendent to support a Department of Energy (DOE) project at the Savannah River Site. This role is responsible for overseeing electrical construction and maintenance activities in a highly regulated nuclear environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and oversee electrical construction and installation activities 
• Coordinate with project teams, engineers, and field personnel 
• Monitor project schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance 
• Conduct field walkdowns and ensure proper installation practices 
• Review construction plans, permits, and project documentation 
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with standards 
• Support outage planning, scheduling, and execution 

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required 
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” clearance 
• Strong electrical construction background with 8+ years of experience 
• Experience with electrical systems installed in accordance with NFPA and NEC standards 
• Ability to perform field walkdowns and support construction planning 

Important Requirement

Candidates must have substantial electrical construction experience and knowledge of safety, planning, and field execution. Applications that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• DOE or nuclear facility experience 
• Previous Savannah River Site experience 
• Experience in construction, maintenance, or outage coordination 
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills 

Work Environment

• 100% onsite at Savannah River Site (Aiken, SC) 
• Field-based role in a highly regulated environment 
• May require overtime based on project needs
