We are developing a premium pet wellness product focused on ambient comfort, scent diffusion, and innovative pet technology. Our current project involves developing a water-based ultra-fine mist formulation designed for a next-generation pet wellness environment product.

Project Objective
We are seeking a highly motivated intern or early-career researcher with an interest in cosmetic chemistry, fragrance science, pet wellness products, or formulation development.

The selected candidate will assist in researching and helping develop a safe, low-residue, water-based ambient mist formulation intended for pet environments.

Key Focus Areas

  • Research pet-safe fragrance and hydrosol ingredients
  • Research ultra-fine mist and diffuser-compatible formulations
  • Help identify low-residue and non-oily formulation components
  • Assist in evaluating preservatives and shelf stability
  • Research dog-safe scent sensitivities and calming scent profiles
  • Help organize formulation testing documentation
  • Work alongside the founder during prototype testing and sample evaluations

  • Present initial ingredient recommendations

  • Review manufacturer sample options
  • Assist in evaluating scent profiles and formulation compatibility
  • Research preservatives, shelf stability, and safety considerations

Week 3

  • Assist with prototype testing and documentation
  • Evaluate residue, scent intensity, and overall performance
  • Organize testing observations and recommendations

Week 4

  • Finalize formulation direction recommendations
  • Create organized summary report
  • Assist with next-step manufacturing and scaling recommendations
