Camp Counselor Aug 16-23
Brave Camp Counselor Description
Brave Camp Counselors play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and empowering
environment where campers can discover their inner bravery and build lasting
confidence.
As a counselor, you are more than a supervisor—you are a mentor, role model, and

navigate new experiences, form meaningful connections, and step outside of their
comfort zones.
Key Responsibilities:
Create a positive, inclusive, and emotionally safe environment for all campers
Lead and support daily activities, including workshops, outdoor adventures, and
creative expression sessions
Facilitate Brave Journey exercises such as journaling, reflection, and group
discussions
Build strong, supportive relationships with campers and encourage personal
growth
Ensure camper safety and well-being at all times
Collaborate with fellow counselors to bring energy, structure, and care to each
day
What We’re Looking For:
Ages 18–25
Passion for working with youth and fostering personal development
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
Positive, energetic, and adaptable attitude
Ability to lead with empathy, patience, and encouragement
Experience in mentorship, education, camp settings, or youth programs is a plus
The Impact:
As a Brave Camp Counselor, you will help shape a transformative experience where
campers feel seen, heard, and inspired. Your presence will directly contribute to building
confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging in every camper.
