At Markato, we create face-to-face outreach campaigns that support internationally recognised humanitarian and charity organisations. Through live events, retail pop-ups, and community-based campaigns, we help connect people with causes making a real difference around the world.

We’re currently expanding our Chicago team and looking for an Entry-Level Events Assistant to join our fast-paced, energetic environment.

This is a great opportunity for recent graduates, career starters, or individuals seeking hands-on experience in events, communications, and public engagement. No previous experience is required — full training is provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our events team, you’ll work at organised campaign locations, interacting directly with the public and helping deliver engaging supporter experiences.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the setup and execution of live promotional events
• Speaking with customers and members of the public in a professional and friendly manner
• Sharing information about current humanitarian and charity campaigns
• Answering questions and helping interested supporters through a simple registration process
• Working alongside a motivated team in a performance-driven environment
• Contributing to individual and team campaign goals
• Maintaining a positive and professional brand presence at events
