Product Strategy Intern (AI Infrastructure)
We're an early-stage deep tech startup building infrastructure software at the intersection of cloud computing and AI performance optimization. Our founding team comes from Meta, Groq (acquired by Nvidia), and xAI. We're working on a hard problem in AI inference, one that affects every company running models in production.
The Role
We're looking for a product intern who can think rigorously about technical systems and translate that into product strategy. This is not a design role. You'll work directly with the founding team on problems like: how should the product be positioned, what does the buying journey look like, how do we prioritize what to build next, and what does the market actually need that nobody is building yet.
What You'll Do
- Research the AI inference market- customers, competitors, gaps, and emerging patterns
- Synthesize findings into product recommendations the team can act on
- Help define and pressure-test product direction alongside the CTO and CEO
- Contribute to GTM thinking- who we sell to, how they buy, what they need to see
- Work directly with engineering to understand technical tradeoffs and their product implications
What We're Looking For
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or engineering- required
- 3+ years of product or technical experience before your current degree program
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a master's program (business, product, HCI, or related field)
- Hands-on experience with LLMs or generative AI, either building with them or defining products around them
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with no established playbook
- Strong written and verbal communication; you can explain a complex system to a non-technical stakeholder
Why This Role
- Direct access to a founding team that has built at the foundation of modern AI infrastructure
- Real ownership- your analysis and recommendations shape actual product decisions
- Fully remote, flexible hours
- Path to full-time for the right candidate
