VryfID is a rapidly growing prop-tech startup building the future of renter verification, leasing infrastructure, and AI-powered marketplace technology. Through verified identity systems and our newest platform, The Exchange, we are transforming how renters, brokers, and property managers connect.

We are looking for highly motivated student engineers to help build and scale the next generation of VryfID products and internal platforms. This is an opportunity to work directly alongside startup leadership and contribute to real products being used in the NYC real estate market.

As part of the engineering team, you will help develop marketplace systems, user-facing applications, onboarding flows, automation tools, and future AI-driven features as we scale nationally.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and scaling web-based platforms and internal tools
• Contribute to frontend and backend product development
• Help improve platform performance, UX, and functionality
• Collaborate on AI-powered marketplace and verification features
• Participate in startup product strategy and engineering discussions
• Work closely with leadership on high-impact technical projects

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with JavaScript, React, Python, Node.js, or similar technologies
• Understanding of APIs, databases, and web architecture
• Interest in startups, AI, marketplaces, or product development
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
