We are looking for a motivated Intern to join our Engineering team for the summer (approx. 3 months). Job Summary
The main responsibility will be supporting the Engineering team.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate between the Production and Engineering teams to provide day-to-day shop floor support
- Help to create and update engineering drawings and CAD models
- Support continuous improvement projects for both production and engineering team-related projects
- Support document control procedures
- Support senior engineers in sales order and design testing efforts
- Help to investigate areas for design improvement in our frequently purchased products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency in CAD modeling and drafting with a preference in SolidWorks experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to support interdepartmental efforts
- Understanding of basic DFM + DFA concepts
