Supervisor

The Lost City in Holland, MI is looking for an energetic, responsible, and people-first individual to join our management team as a Supervisor. If you love working with people and thrive in a fun, fast-moving environment, we want to hear from you.

We're right here in Holland, which means no long commute and a flexible schedule that can work around your academic commitments. This is a part-time, year-round role with evening and weekend availability required.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

This isn't a "stand in the corner and watch" kind of management role. You'll be running the show — opening and closing the facility, leading a team of staff, creating an incredible experience for every guest who walks through our doors, and solving real problems in real time. Here's what that looks like day to day:

  • Opening and closing the facility on weekdays and weekends
  • Leading and motivating on-site staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Overseeing the energy and atmosphere of the entire building — for both employees and customers
  • Managing facility maintenance, inventory, and equipment across our café and activity areas
  • Hosting and executing private events, corporate gatherings, and birthday parties
  • Prioritizing safety for every employee and every guest, every shift

What We're Looking For

You don't need a perfect resume — you need the right character. We're looking for people who:

  • Bring positive energy and don't take themselves too seriously
  • Own their mistakes and step up without being asked
  • Can communicate clearly and calmly, even when things get busy
  • Have some supervisory or leadership experience (a team captain, RA, shift lead, camp counselor — it all counts)
  • Can navigate conflict with confidence and professionalism
  • Are available evenings and/or weekends
  • Have a High School Diploma (some college experience preferred — you're already checking that box)
