We are looking for a motivated Intern to join our Manufacturing Engineering team for the summer (approx. 3 months) at our Livermore, CA location. Job Summary

The main responsibility will be supporting the Manufacturing Engineering team.

Job Responsibilities

Lean & Process Development

  • Support time studies and basic work measurement.
  • Assist with process mapping and improvement activities
  • Support standard work and 5S activities

Automation & Digitalization

  • Support small automation and digitalization projects
  • Take ownership of simple shop floor improvements (e.g., tracking systems, basic digital tools)
  • Collect and analyze production data

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or related)
  • Excel skills (data organization, simple analysis, charts)
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Comfortable using digital tools / software
  • Good teamwork and clear communication
  • At least 2 years of Consulting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automation/Robotics or related coursework
  • Basic programming or scripting (Python, VBA, or similar)
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • Interest in automation, sensors, or shop floor technologies (barcode, QR, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of databases or data collection systems
  • CAD or basic technical drawing knowledge
