About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Robotics Instructors to lead elementary-level afterschool enrichment programs in San Jose for the Fall 2026 season. Instructors will guide students through hands-on robotics activities that promote creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and STEM learning.

This role is ideal for educators, college students, STEM instructors, and robotics enthusiasts who enjoy working with young learners in an engaging and interactive environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary robotics enrichment classes during afterschool hours
• Facilitate hands-on robotics builds, challenges, and coding activities
• Teach foundational robotics and engineering concepts in a fun and accessible way
• Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Encourage teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking among students
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain student safety at all times
• Submit a brief after-class report following each session
• Communicate professionally with program staff and school personnel

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Knowledge of robotics platforms such as LEGO Robotics, Sphero, EV3, and similar robotics kits
• Background in robotics, engineering, STEM, coding, or related fields preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• $35–$37 per hour based on experience
