About the Role
We are seeking engaging and dependable Coding Instructors to lead elementary-level afterschool enrichment programs in San Jose for the Fall 2026 season. Instructors will introduce students to coding concepts through fun, hands-on activities in a supportive learning environment.
This role is ideal for educators, college students, STEM instructors, and professionals who enjoy working with young learners and creating interactive classroom experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead elementary coding enrichment classes during afterschool hours
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Teach age-appropriate coding concepts through guided activities and projects
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain student safety at all times
- Submit a brief after-class report following each session
- Communicate professionally with program staff and school personnel
Qualifications
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Background in coding, computer science, STEM, or related fields preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

- Must be able to submit an after-class brief after every session
