Non-Product Wafer Engineer
As a Non-Product Wafer Engineer at Micron Technology Virginia, you will be responsible for setting up systems, maintaining fab test wafer management systems and troubleshooting fab. In this role, you will work with various process engineering teams to maintain the right wafer inventories, resolve defect issues, work on optimizing the test wafer flows and maintaining cost per week with optimizing usage. It requires familiarity with bare wafer software applications and data management systems supporting fab test wafer automation. The role also includes error recovery and lot disposition for bare wafer stockers, attending worldwide CST meetings, and contributing to cost reduction efforts. The responsibilities extend to developing, implementing, and maintaining methods and processes in manufacturing, interfacing with design engineering for new product releases, and maintaining records for manufacturing operations coordination.
Responsibilities:
Manage test wafer inventories and allocate necessary inventories to process areas
Maintain test wafer management projects and automation setup
Maintain the automation projects and utilize micron software to manage processes
Collaborate with other areas to maintain bare wafer stocker inventories and configurations
Validate and approve test wafer flow changes using change management protocols
Utilize data management software support automation including but not limited to, crafting templates, settings, values, and standards in Test Wafer management system
Maintain weekly cost budgets for various test wafer grades
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Knowledge on creating standard operating procedures
Knowledge on coding or ability to create reports on tableau, PowerBi
Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of relevant test wafer management experience
