JAMSTEC is recruiting early-career researchers to lead future marine science and technology research and development initiatives, in line with its Fifth Medium- to Long-Term Plan. 

Successful candidates will be expected to pursue advanced and interdisciplinary research. 

This is a tenure-track position, and the successful candidate will be eligible to apply for the Selection Examination for the Position of Permanent Employee (a tenured position)
